權利使人腐敗,貪婪使人糜爛,當人有了權利之後就可以輕易掌控所有的事情,

Henry和Jo調查一起一個出身卑微的年輕金融家,遭人謀殺的案件。

死者的屍體在東岸被人發現後,巧合的是此人正好是Abe在戰爭時期同袍的兒子。

在Henry不知情的情況下,Abe決定和同袍當起偵探私下調查這起案件,沒想到卻得到令人

驚訝的結果。在回憶情節裡, Henry想起17歲的Abe被國家徵召去越南打仗時,

身為人父的不安與慌恐。
